NEW MOON: CACAO LOVE CLUB - STOKE NEWINGTON

Join us at the beautiful Soma Lab, Stoke Newington for an evening of re-connection on the Sagittarius New Moon.

This is an opportunity like no other to come together in celebration of a magical new beginning, releasing anything that no longer serves our highest purpose and stepping into our full abundance. New Moons are a time for seeding intention, reflecting on the past lunar cycle and setting intentions for the energy to come.

Surrender with us as we dance through an ecstatic evening of sacred circle, ecstatic movement, potent breathwork, magical medicine and harmonious sound bathing - facilitated by Molly Chinner and Sean Delahay.

The Cacao Spirit is a keeper of ancient, sacred wisdom. Mama Cacao holds the vibrations of kindness, unconditional love, and joy, opening a channel for loving connection with yourself and others. Cacao's energy is healing, motherly and very gentle - speaking directly to the heart. When we connect with the heart’s energy our voice may speak from a place of deeper intelligence carrying vibrations of peace and harmony. 

A Cacao Ceremony is a sacred and ancient ritual to honour the five elements and the spirits of Nature, to create a harmonious matrix with all living beings and express gratitude for Life itself. Cacao represents the way of the heart and reflects humanity's sacred connection and relationship with the land and the (un)seen worlds. The Cacao Love Club is growing - gathering people of all walks of life to sit in Circle, with kindness, to drink a cup of Chocolate together and celebrate one another.

All abilities, ages and experience levels are welcome! Please bring along your cosies and comfies to stay warm during sound bath. Cushions and mats are provided but please bring anything else you'd like for comfort.

WHERE IS THE CEREMONY & HOW DO I GET THERE?

The event will be held at SomaLab in Stoke Newington. There is little available free parking - the closest station would be Stoke Newington.

WHAT DO I BRING?

Please bring along a special cup/mug or chalice for your Cacao, in the interests of sustainability we will not be providing single use cups. Please also bring along anything else to make yourself comfortable; a journal + pen, blankets and pillows for sound bathing and talismans/crystals/offerings to add to the altar.

WHAT ARE THE TIMINGS?

19:00 arrival - 21:00 departure

WHAT IS ECSTATIC DANCE?

Ecstatic dance is a type of freeform movement designed to draw you deeply back into your body. Youy will be guided to abandon your inhibitions to the rhythm and move freely as the music takes you higher, leading to trance and a feeling of profound ecstasy. All abilities welcome, movement is not guided and is totally directed by you. 

CAN I DRINK CEREMONIAL CACAO IF (...)?

Ceremonial Cacao is a potent and magical plant medicine. I use the highest grade Cacao organically and ethically sourced from the Tsatayaku association in Ecuador. A ceremonial dose of Cacao is 40g and can have some purgative/stimulating effects due to the Theobromine and Caffeine content. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking SSRI's or have any serious conditions please let me know beforehand so I can prepare a lower/no dose for you.

DO I NEED TO HAVE EXPERIENCED SOUND BATHING BEFORE?

All are very welcome - no sound bathing experience is necessary. Please let us know in advance if you suffer with serious heart conditions, have a pacemaker, tinitus, epilepsy or any other condition that might be effected by the vibration of sounds.

WHAT TYPE OF MOVEMENT IS INCLUDED?

There will be an extended ecstatic embodiment/dance flow. Ecstatic dance is fun and expansive and totally self-lead. I will be guiding some prompts and exercises to break the ice, otherwise it's up to you to feel the music and move in a way that feels good for you.

ARE ALL ASPECTS COMPULSORY?

We'd like to create cohesion and connection amongst the group so encourage full participation. However it’s your body and your time, so if you feel called to skip an experience, it’s up to you. Please note that doing so will not affect the price in any way as all pricing is fully inclusive.

WHAT’S THE BOOKING POLICY?

If I have to cancel for any reason your payments are refundable in full up until 48 hours prior after which no refunds can be offered. Full Ts + Cs available on booking.
