NEW MOON: CACAO CEREMONY, DANCE JOURNEY + SOUND BATH

Join us at the beautiful Soma Lab, Stoke Newington for an evening of re-connection on the July New Moon.

This is an opportunity like no other to come together in celebration of a magickal new beginning, releasing anything that no longer serves our highest purpose and stepping into our full abundance.

Surrender with us as we dance through an ecstatic evening of guided movement, breathwork, sacred cacao and radiant sound bath facilitated by Molly Chinner and Sean Delahay. Feeling into the realities we so often forget & the truths we all carry.

Sacred cacao has been used for millennia by indigeonous peoples to open the heart and awaken the soul. A gentle and expansive plant medicine, Cacao allows us to step outside of the mind and enter the heart, clearing a pathway for our greatest wants and needs to unravel without resistance.

When drunk in ceremony, Cacao can be a transformational and loving medicine. During this session we will welcome in the spirit of Cacao with love as she guides our intentions into a new era of love + blossoming beauty.

You will be guided through a delicious movement practice; embarking on a journey through our elemental nature & the building blocks of life, exploring & expressing through Earth, Water, Fire, Air & Ether. Music will support the unravelling & movement as we reconnect to our true nature & elemental wisdoms within.

Using the sacred power of the breath + body we will awaken our flow of energy and connect back to our highest Self. Without fear present, we move into love, joy and gratitude.

Finishing with an ambient soundscape of crystal bowls, drums, chimes and sacred mantra. Come bearing an open heart and a big smile for an evening of love and community.

All abilities and experience levels are welcome! Please bring along your cosies and comfies to stay warm during sound bath. Cushions and mats are provided but please bring anything else you'd like for comfort.

FAQs

WHERE IS THE CEREMONY & HOW DO I GET THERE?

The event will be held at SomaLab in Stoke Newington. There is little available free parking - the closest station would be Stoke Newington.

WHAT DO I BRING?

Please bring along a special cup/mug or chalice for your Cacao, in the interests of sustainability we will not be providing single use cups. Please also bring along anything else to make yourself comfortable; a journal + pen, blankets and pillows for sound bathing and talismans/crystals/offerings to add to the altar.

WHAT ARE THE TIMINGS?

19:00 arrival - 21:00 departure

CAN I DRINK CEREMONIAL CACAO IF (...)?

Ceremonial Cacao is a potent and magickal plant medicine. I use the highest grade Cacao organically and ethically sourced from the Tsatayaku association in Ecuador. A ceremonial dose of Cacao is 40g and can have some purgative/stimulating effects due to the Theobromine and Caffeine content. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking SSRI's or have any serious conditions please let me know beforehand so I can prepare a lower/no dose for you.

DO I NEED TO HAVE EXPERIENCED SOUND BATHING BEFORE?

All are very welcome - no sound bathing experience is necessary. Please let us know in advance if you suffer with serious heart conditions, have a pacemaker, tinitus, epilepsy or any other condition that might be effected by the vibration of sounds.

WHAT TYPE OF MOVEMENT IS INCLUDED?

There will be an extended ecstatic embodiment/dance flow. Ecstatic dance is fun and expansive and totally self-lead. I will be guiding some prompts and exercises to break the ice, otherwise it's up to you to feel the music and move in a way that feels good for you.

ARE ALL ASPECTS COMPULSORY?

We'd like to create cohesion and connection amongst the group so encourage full participation. However it’s your body and your time, so if you feel called to skip an experience, it’s up to you. Please note that doing so will not affect the price in any way as all pricing is fully inclusive.

WHAT’S THE BOOKING POLICY?

If I have to cancel for any reason your payments are refundable in full up until July 16th. Refunds are available for customer cancellations up to and including 16th after which no refunds can be given.
