Hatha Flow
Move with your breath, return to your body, and explore yoga beyond the postures.
Service Description
Hatha Flow is a mindful practice that balances flowing movement with held postures, creating space to develop strength, awareness, and ease. Each class brings together asana (physical postures), breathwork, and moments of stillness, with mudra (symbolic hand gestures) and mantra (sound or repeated phrases) enriching the practice. Rooted in the eight limbs of yoga, my approach embraces the full depth of this tradition: yama and niyama (ethical principles and personal observances), asana (posture), pranayama (breath practices), pratyahara (turning awareness inward), dharana (concentration), dhyana (meditation), and samadhi (absorption or unity). These offer a foundation for exploration, both on the mat and in everyday life. Expect a nourishing blend of movement, breath, sound, and quiet reflection. Some moments invite energy and effort; others encourage you to slow down and listen. Rather than striving for perfect shapes, you are supported to explore each posture with curiosity and respect for your body. Options are offered throughout, welcoming different levels of experience. My teaching draws these elements together with care and intention, inviting you to deepen your relationship with yourself through both the physical and contemplative aspects of yoga. Each class offers space to meet yourself as you are, honour your own pace, and develop a practice that feels meaningful to you. Step off the mat with space to feel more grounded, present, and connected, carrying the steadiness of your practice into the rest of your day.
