About the event

It all starts with a heartbeat as it should.

There is a rhythm to all things.

A pulse.

The beat of the drum...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Our women's drumming circles are an opportunity to slow down and tune into the pulse of life within you; to connect with yourself and with a community of other amazing women, held by the arms of a beautiful and ancient forest.
Are you feeling the call to join us?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Our Sacred Sisterhood events are artfully and mindfully curated by Molly-Anne Chinner to honour the flow + cycle of the seasons. We invite you to immerse yourself into a cyclical way of living and ~being~ when you drum with us in the heart of an ancient forest in London. Each circle gathers a supportive constellation of women for an enriching evening of ceremonial Cacao, sharing circle and shamanic drumming as the sun goes down.

FAQs

How much are tickets?

Tickets are by donation (over £6) which goes to support the Cacao initiatives we support and provide beautiful and high quality ceremonial Cacao for our circles. We also donate 10% of every order to TREESISTERS - a charity supporting reforestation and empowering women globally.

Is this event just for women?

Our Sacred Sisterhood events are for women, womb bearers and anybody who resonates with the female experience (LGBTQIA+ inclusive!)

How do I get there?

The nearest station is Highgate, five minutes up the road. Alternatively there is a bus station opposite the entrance to the Queen's Wood. Please try to use public transport where possible as parking is difficult and expensive in London.

What do I bring?

Please bring your drum and/or rattle along with you. Shamanic drums are handmade and very personal to the maker so don't expect to be able to borrow one. If you don't have a drum please don't worry - you can clap your hands or shake a rattle (we have lots of rattles spare).

You may also want to bring a cushion or blanket to sit on, and something to add to our collaborative altar (flowers, crystals, fruits, seeds, statues, photographs, candles, incense etc...) which you can take home again at the end. Please also bring along a bottle of water.

What happens if it rains?

If the weather is poor we may reschedule or rearrange the meeting. Please watch out for communication on the day ~ on registration we will invite you to join our Sacred Sisterhood WhatsApp thread where we share communications.

What do I wear?

Please wear comfortable, warm and appropriate clothing for changeable weather on a British summers evening. Long trousers and sleeves can be helpful to protect from bug bites and mosquito repellent/SPF if appropriate.

What can I expect?

You can expect a warm and inviting circle of women, delicious Cacao, beautiful music, open hearts and new friends. Come as you are. All welcome!

Accessibility

The Queens Wood is accessible to wheelchairs. Please let us know if you have any more accessibility needs to discuss on molly.chinner@gmail.com. There are no easily accessed toilets nearby (get ready to wild wee!) so please note this in advance.

Can I bring my children?

Yes all children are welcome. Children must be accompanied and supervised at all times by a responsible adult.
