Leave the world behind and step into the fairytale Cotswold countryside.Â
Our retreat is set in a beautiful yurt nestled in amongst the walled gardens of Berkeley Castle.Â
This is a day designed to hit all the good spots and refresh you completely from the inside out. We will spend time connecting with ourselves, one another and with our creative souls - leaving you feeling nourished, calm and contented as you step joyfully back into the world.
You will be guided through an energising, morning yoga practice, nourish yourself with a delicious plant-based lunch, ignite your creative soul with a guided, wildflower arranging workshop and recharge your batteries with afternoon Yoga Nidra & Sound Bath. This retreat is suitable for all abilities, genders, shapes, sizes and ages! Yoga is suited to all people and lots of options will be given.
The local village is nearby and I can reccomend some fabulous B&Bs and accomodation if you would like to stay close to the retreat, either before or after. There is carparking on site, toilets nearby and all the amentities necessary to be comfortable for the day.Â
PROGRAMME
10:45 - 11:00 - Arrival & greeting
11:00 - 12:30 - Morning vinyasa practice.Â
This practice will be an energising and warming vinyasa practice designed to suit all abilities and take you deeper into the mind, body and breath. Bring your mat, blanket, bolster, yoga bricks, meditation shawl and anything else you might need for a comfortable practice!
12:30 - 13:30 Wholesome, plant-based lunch
Catering will be provided by The Walled Garden Cafe. They pride themselves on making everything from scratch with delicious and sustainable plant-based foods. Here is an example: Homemade Sourdough. Spreads and Chutneys. Pearl Barley Salad. Olives. Sundried Tomatoes. Spicy Beans. Kale. Courgette Fritters. Guacamole. Sauerkraut. Toasted Seeds. *Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements.Â
13:30 - 15:30 Creative workshopping with @grownandforaged
Learn how to create a beautiful and seasonal wreath or gathering using grown and foraged foliage and florals. This is the perfect opportunity to learn a new skill and let your creative juices weave their magic in a therapeutic and soul soothing way.
16:00 - 17:00 Yoga Nidra & Sound Bath
Drift off to the soothing sounds of crystal bowls to finish our day together. You will be guided through a gentle full-body relaxation, releasing unwanted tension and stress to leave you feeling utterly peaceful and ready to receive healing vibrations. You will then receive a cleansing sound bath, guided by the sounds of gongs, chimes, singing bowls and voice to allow you to fully let go and restore.Â
