MÂTÎRJA (Motherline): Album Launch Party

She has sung to me through Her songlines. On a journey of remembrance. Of reclamation. A return to the Earth that we walk upon and the songs, myths and stories that animate the lands. These lands that we are born from - as children of this One Earth and the One tradition of humankind.

Join us for an ultra special and intimate launch event in Stoke Newington, London to honour the birthing of a new project, a weaving of red threads and a collection of a ritual songs to guide us back to the MOTHERLINE. An honouring of the sacred feminine power within each of us.

The album 'Matìrja' meaning Motherline in the ancient language of Proto-celtic (with thanks to my teacher Carolyn Hillyer for her extensive work in the excavating of this bone language) is a collection of song stories, mythical retellings, sound healing transmissions and sacred mantras in alignment with the voice of the rising feminine upon Earth.

This collection of songs is a weaving of red threads. An honouring of the awakening feminine force as she rises from within the deep, Dragon heart of Gaia to usher us back to belonging. To one another and to the land itself. A prayer for the Mothers to lead. A calling to the forgotten Herstory that cries out to us from within the ancestral places within us.

Home we go.

About The Artist - Molly-Anne Chinner

Molly-Anne Chinner is a Sound healer, sacred musician, songstress and wild earth daughter. Hailing from the rural and wild South West, her music weaves threads of a more native folk sound with her work in ambient, healing, devotional and world music genres to offer a soulful and feminine listening journey as a celebration of music as healing, and a guided remembering of the Earth, stars and all the wonders of the universe. Molly's background is in sound healing, folk music and songwriting and her work today is an exploration into voice, sound and music as a language of the soul and messenger of the heart - creating through the weaving of healing and ethereal soundscapes, pure crystalline tones and sweet songs - guiding you, the listener, deeper within the body as a vessel for spirit and inviting connection with source, consciousness, Earth and Self.

Accompanied on the night by Tom Bosher on etheral piano and Peter Bosher on the flute, you can expect a sweet, soulful and serene evening of sonic curiosity. Blending multiple genres into a cosmic soup of healing sounds.
