About the event
Mandala Vinyasa is a style of Yoga informed by the elemental system and the ancient Mayan calendar.
Moving in a circular 'mandala' inspired 360 degrees around the mat, we will move through pranayama, postures, Mantra and meditation to open and engage the Muladhara (Root) Chakra, bringing strength to the lower body and awareness to the pelvic floor.
In this 2.5 hour Mandala practice we will focus on how our ability to ground helps us to be stable enough to balance and transitions seamlessly in our yoga practice and life. There is a focus on the hamstrings and hip flexors along with the feet or our 'roots'. Take a moment to feel the pulsating heartbeat of the Earth underneath your feet. Breathe, flow and nourish your roots.
Prepare to leave feeling strong, nourished and grounded.
This workshop is suitable for those who are interested in deepening their practice and is not suitable for total beginners. All shapes, sizes, ages, mobility levels are welcome, just make sure you know some basic Yoga terminology!
